Currently, hair removal is offered in the Sacramento and Berkeley locations only. Excess body and facial hair can be such a hassle. Thanks to Inkoff.me and the Quanta Evo laser, men and women alike can make unwanted hair a thing of the past. Say goodbye to razors, waxes, and tweezers. The Quanta Evo is the best laser hair removal system on the market and works for all skin types, even dark or tanned tones! The Quanta Evo is extremely effective, safe and gives permanent results.
The Evo can remove hair from all parts of the body! From the face, legs, underarms, and back to sensitive areas like the nipples, bikini and chest!
Every patient is different, but you can expect that most areas will require 6-8 treatments. There are a few factors that come into place. It depends on the area being treated, your hair density, and the hair’s growth cycle. There are three phases of hair growth, regression, and resting. Laser technology is designed to treat the hair in the growth phase.
Most patients experience no more than a slight stinging or pinching sensation as the laser pulses are applied. Some parts of the body do tend to be more sensitive than others and a topical numbing cream is available to those who may want it. But with the Zimmer attachment, cool air will soothe the skin as it is being treated.
The Quanta Evo laser safely removes unwanted facial and body hair by selectively targeting pigment inside the hair follicle which generates energy in the form of heat at the root of the hair, and destroys the hair without damaging the skin.
Immediately after your laser hair removal session, your skin may feel a bit red or swollen. It may feel a bit like a sunburn and this typically lasts for several hours or less. The next few days after your treatment, you may experience what seems like hair growth, but don’t worry! It is actually the hairs shedding as a result of your treatment. Make sure not to pluck or wax the area being treated in between sessions. Shaving is allowed. Our nurse will be sure to go over all the aftercare with you during your visit.
