Why do we at Inkoff.me recommend that you use Aquaphor? We recommend it for many reasons. It can be used for minor burns and laser tattoo removal is essentially a minor burn, so it works great! It also protects the skin while it naturally heals. Aquaphor is semi-occlusive which means it allows oxygen to reach the wound and make for faster healing. This formula is free of fragrances, preservatives, and dyes which makes it ideal for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin. The ingredients not only help with healing, but also has the added benefits of being able to soothe and nourish the skin! It is especially great for dry skin. We believe that you will be reaching for your tube of Aquaphor for much more than your laser tattoo removal! So, when do we recommend that you use this amazing healer?
If your treated area ever feels itchy, dry or irritated, this ointment will help relieve those symptoms. Just apply the Aquaphor two times daily for best results. Just take a small amount and gently apply to the clean, dry skin. Do not rub the treated area aggressively, as that can lead to further damage to the skin. You can make the choice of whether you want to cover the treated area with a bandage or if you would like to leave the area open. We recommend that, if you can, keep the area uncovered, like when at home. If you are out in the sun or your treated area will be covered by clothing, you may want to use a bandage, just so the ointment doesn’t get on your clothes. We prefer to use these tubes instead of the jars. When using something in a jar you take the chance of transferring bacteria from your hands into your product. It is a much cleaner option to use the tube. If you are looking for a bigger bang for you buck, so to speak, go with the jar. Just make sure that your hands are always clean before dipping them in the jar! It is also more convenient to carry around the tube. Much harder to throw that jar in your bag or your pocket, right?
